Qasim Ali

Student Assistent

I have been working as a student research assistant (HiWi) at the Bavarian State Research Center for Agriculture (LfL) since April 2024. During this time, I have supported the KaPaSan and FUNGAS research projects by carrying out laboratory work, including DNA and RNA extraction, PCR, and sample preparation. I also assisted with biogas experiments, collected samples, and helped with routine laboratory analyses. This experience has strengthened my practical skills in molecular biology and microbiology while contributing to sustainable biogas research.

We are a team of scientists from Austria, Germany and Switzerland working closely together combining microbiology, biotechnology and bioinformatics to investigate potential benefits deriving from the biotechnological usage of anaerobic fungi.
