Michelle Susilo

Student Assistent

Technical University of Munich | Master in Biology

Michelle has been working as a HiWi in the LCR Pilze project since October 2025, and has also been supporting the FUNGAS project since April 2026. Responsibilities include preparing culture media and laboratory reagents, inoculating fungal cultures, and carrying out molecular biology techniques such as DNA and RNA extraction.

We are a team of scientists from Austria, Germany and Switzerland working closely together combining microbiology, biotechnology and bioinformatics to investigate potential benefits deriving from the biotechnological usage of anaerobic fungi.
