For more than two years at the Bavarian State Research Center for Agriculture (LfL), I worked on a research project focused on anaerobic fungi and their role in lignocellulosic biomass degradation. My work involved culturing anaerobic fungi, conducting molecular and microbiological experiments, analyzing data, and contributing to ongoing research in microbial ecology and sustainable biotechnology. This experience greatly strengthened my laboratory and research skills while deepening my interest in microbial science. I am sincerely grateful to my colleagues and mentors at LfL for their continuous guidance, encouragement, and the opportunity to be part of such a rewarding research project.
